Blast From The Past

I still remember how pumped up I was that we had a band coming to play in our school hall.
These were supposed to be dances but nobody called them that. The girls from St. Mary’s Academy would show up and yeah, there’d be some jivin’ but for us Rockers, it was all about seeing and hearing a good Rock’n Roll band.
With about 5 months left of high school and major plans to take over the world, lol, this was a concert our school planned and budgeted for carefully. We always had fundraisers for social events; this one was one of the best.
Harlequin was doing songs by Supertramp and The Sensational Alex Harvey Band along with some originals.
Back then it was Lawrie Koyle, Ralph James, George Belanger, Gary Golden, and Dave Budzak.
Things went well for the band for years to come and this was a fantastic show.
They even had a fog machine and it was just over 2 bucks to get in!
It was worth every cent.
